Human Resources Roundtable

We invite you—or the staff person at your organization who manages your Human Resources functions—to a Peer-to-Peer Roundtable on Human Resources for nonprofit professionals. We expect that bringing together the smart, savvy nonprofit professionals who manage Human Resources functions in a broad array of nonprofit organizations will benefit everyone. We hope to reduce any sense of isolation by creating a network in a safe environment for mentorship, sharing lessons learned, testing ideas, and getting feedback from peers.
We are going to kick off this initiative by inviting participation in an upcoming “Ask an Expert” session by UA Vice President of Business Affairs and Human Resources, Allison Vaillancourt, called “Everything You’ve Always Wanted to Know about Human Resources.” This will be held on Wednesday, August 21st from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Then, on September 13th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, we will convene the first Human Resources Roundtable at the CF Campus. In order for the participants to get to know each other and candidly discuss topics of interest to them, we will limit this group 20 participants.
As a pilot project of the CF Campus, we ask that participants commit to attending one session each quarter for the coming year. Dates, times and discussion topics will be chosen by the initial participants. Future HR Roundtables will likely be scheduled in December 2019, March 2020 and June 2020. At the end of the pilot year, the HR Roundtable participants will evaluate this experience and decide whether or not they’d like to continue meeting.
